And yet...

This is from the Tiesto concert a few weeks back. Was such an excellent concert! Can't wait for the next one!

Tomorrow I'm heading back to London for a short holiday. It's time to get out of the States for awhile and remember there are other places than here! I have lately had some rather big changes. I'm trying to be positive about them with the saying, "when one door closes, another one opens." Thing were so great and yet...and yet I suppose they were the greatest they could be and now it is time for something else to have a chance at greatness. I am talking about my job. It's time to let it go and move on to something brand new and fresh. A new beginning for a new season!

Looking forward to my mate, Justina, moving in with me in 2 weeks! Shall be excellent fun to have an old friend to run amok in Chicago with! Will keep everyone posted with our crazy adventures.

Escape through travel works.

Best weekend in Chicago: DJ Tiesto concert

This weekend has been phenomenal! The weather has been gorgeous, it was my first full weekend off in 6 weeks, and I was ready to party!

Saturday was spent doing mundane things round the apartment then Saturday night I went to see DJ Tiesto at the Congress Theatre. Wow, it was wicked, completely unbelievable! I met 4 really great people (Manny, Dave, Jami, and Ahmed).

Tiesto's music could be described as my religion. His music has a spiritual quality to it that doesn't exist in any other form of music. It was so amazing, I never wanted it to end!

He was playing his cd release of Search for Sunrise 5. I didn't think anything could top his Search for Sunrise 3 but this did! This is the best concert I've ever been to (even better than Faithless in Sydney!)

After the concert, all 5 of us went to the afterparty at Vision nightclub and stayed dancing till 6 (I just have say here that I was completely sober this whole time! Was so into the music, I forgot to drink!).

I woke up today around noon, then got some thai food, and went walking on the beach. Today is gorgeous! I've taken lots of photos that will be (hopefully) loaded here on my next entry. Laying in the sand soaking up the sun was the perfect way to end my perfect weekend. Am very happy.

Enjoy the silence.
